While the journey was longer than expected—an 8-hour drive due to traffic—the destination was well worth it. The final stretch involved navigating some of the narrowest lanes I’ve ever encountered (yeah, and I have been to the lake district!), but as soon as I arrived, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable day.

The day began at a charming barn-style property connected to Shilstone House. Annabel was surrounded by her family and friends, preparing for the big day in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her two sisters and her mum were incredibly kind, making me feel right at home as I documented these precious early moments. The bridal party’s makeup, flawlessly done by Meraki, complemented the relaxed yet elegant vibe of the morning.
